House members who supported increased military budget took more money from military contractors

More than half of the annual military budget goes to military contractors. A portion of contractor profits are fed back into the political system to ensure a continuation of Pentagon largesse. A chunk of that is for campaign contributions to Congress.
Do these political donations matter? Sure looks that way.
